Surf N Turf Stuffed Pinwheel Recipe

Whenever I get flank steak the first thing my family request is my cream cheese stuffed pinwheel. This is the first time I have released it and let me tell you... it will be the only pinwheel you will make from here on out! Flank steak is versatile and a lot of fun to make. I love to turn it into an Surf N Turf pinwheel. Let’s got to the recipe!


-2-3 pound flank steak

-1 tablespoon each salt, pepper, garlic & paprika

-2 blocks cream cheese

-2 jalapeño, diced and seeded

-1 pound cooked shrimp, finely chopped

-8 strips thick bacon, diced

-1 bunch cilantro, chopped


Cooking Directions:

1) Smoke Indirect at 250 for one hour.

2) After one hour bump temp up for 350 for an additional 30-45 mins or internal 135.

3) Pull and rest 10 mins before serving
