Poor Mans Burnt Ends With Bold Blend Pellets From @bearmountianbbq

Poor mans burnt ends are an awesome substitute for the brisket burnt ends. It’s a very similar method where you smoke until an internal 165 and then sauce, season & wrap for the final meat candy bites!

DIRECTIONS:

-1-2 tablespoons mustard, spread across chuck roast

-Season generously with seasoning blend below, both sides.

-Fill hopper with Bold blend pellets from Bear Mountain BBQ and set smoker are 250°

-Once the smoker hits the proper temp place the chuck roast in for a nice low N slow cook.

-Monitor and pull at internal temp of 165.

-Once pulled rest 10 mins and cube beef, 1 inch cubes.

-Place in a tin foil pan and add ingredients (found below) and cover with foil for another 1 1/2 hours, or internal 203.

-Pull when the duration of time expires and uncover for a delicious surprise of tasty bites!

INGREDIENTS:

-2-3 pound cut of Chuck Roast

-1 tablespoon salt

-1 tablespoon pepper

-1 tablespoon garlic powder

-2 tablespoons Adams rib rubb

-2 tablespoons expresso coffee rub

-1 tablespoon onion powder

-Mix well

Meat candy ingredients:

-1 cup of favorite BBQ sauce

-1/2 cup brown sugar

-3 tablespoons of dry rub above

-3 tablespoons butter
