Lemon Herb Aoli Salmon Sandwiches
Salmon is by far my favorite fish to consume. I rarely ever make it into a sandwich but with these ingredients I had no choice! I hope everyone enjoys this delicious creation as much as I did!
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1/2 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon corse sea salt
2 full Turkish basil leaves, finely chopped
1 lime zest
Directions:
- Soak cedar planks for one hour, then char on 350 degree grill, 3 mins per side.
- Combine all ingredients for seasoning and apply to salmon, generously
- Place salmon on planks and smoke at 350 degrees
- Toast buns (I used everything hoagie buns), 1-2 mins
- Pull salmon at 145 internal temp
- Quickly pull a part salmon and place in a bowl
- Prep your toasted buns with the Lemon Herb Aoli and Lays potato chips, add pulled salmon last
- Sit down and enjoy every single bite
