Cornish Beer Can Chicken With Homemade Dry Rub


This dry rub for poultry will add some delicious flavor for your next BBQ. It’s simple as mix all the ingredients together and use some Dijon mustard as a binder. I seasoned very generously and the end result will leave you with a nicely coated skin full of flavor! You can use any beer you choose but I try to lean towards nothing light


I set the smoker at 350 and slid the beer cans up my chickens ends and placed them in an aluminum pan with veggies and butter. It took about 3 hours and I pulled at 180 internal temp


Ingredients (dry rub):

2 tablespoons brown sugar

2 tablespoons dry mustard

2 tablespoons onion powder

2 tablespoons paprika

2 tablespoons kosher salt

1 1/2 tablespoons garlic powder

1 tablespoon coriander

1 tablespoon ground cumin

1 tablespoon black pepper

1 tablespoon cayenne peppe
