BLACKED OUT FILETS WITH GARLIC & HERB BUTTER

I love me a nice filet topped with a delicious butter! I always make my compound butter 1 hour in advance so it can sit in the fridge and harden. This will provide enough time so you can use it and add that phenomenal flavor to your steaks! This isn’t only good for Filets but Ribeyes as well!

.

Directions:

Get coal to a hot 500° and make sure the steaks a seasoned (generously) and sit for 20-30 mins. While coals are heating up.

Place filets above coals for 4 1/2 mins each side, rotate 90° after 2 mins and 15 secs.

Pull steaks at internal 120 and add the compound butter. During resting time the butter will melt and add tremendous flavor!

Most importantly, enjoy!
