Bacon Wrapped Shrimp With My Bourbon Glaze

I love combining my two favorite foods, bacon and shrimp! I first start by seasoning my bacon with Southwest Smoke. Quickly after I season my shrimp and then begin to wrap. Tip: use toothpicks to hold the bacon on place but make sure you soak the picks for 30 mins prior! As soon as they are all wrapped I set my smoker at 275 and went to work. At this time I placed my sauce pan on the smoker and combined all ingredients for an incredible bourbon glaze that will add tremendous flavor and color.


Shrimp Seasoning:

-1 pound shrimp, deveined

-1 tablespoon garlic powder

-1 tablespoon salt

-1 tablespoon black pepper

-1-2 tablespoons olive oil


Bourbon Glaze

-1/3 cup brown sugar

-1/3 cup honey

-1/4 cup bourbon (or 2 tablespoon if you don’t want as strong of a flavor)

-1 tablespoon pepper

-1 tablespoon paprika
